Mark is a native of the Hawkeye State. Skiing brought Mark and his family to Utah in 1984. He returned to Iowa to attend Grinnell College and after short careers in theater and the insurance industry, he attended the University of Dayton Law School and was graduated with honors in 2002. While in law school, Mark interned with the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office, trying both felony and misdemeanor cases in Cincinnati, Ohio. After a year practicing Criminal Defense in Michigan, Mark returned to Salt Lake City in 2003 to practice Medical Malpractice Defense, high-value Commercial Litigation, and Business Law at Williams & Hunt. Mark has practiced extensively before both State and Federal Courts.
Mark now brings his experience to Lokken & Putnam, practicing Family Law, Parental Defense, and Criminal Defense. He is an avid skier, (bad) hockey player, and proud father.
