Patty K. Biedermann received her B.S. in Communications from the University of Utah in 1990 and her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1993. While in law school, Ms. Biedermann interned with the Intercity Detroit Law Center and created the "Women's AIDS Center," a location where HIV positive women in the city could receive free counseling and treatment. The Center is still in existence today.

Ms. Biedermann has experience in criminal law, family law and child welfare law. She has served as a Guardian ad Litem representing children in divorce and custody cases, as well as an Assistant Attorney General in child welfare cases in Juvenile Court. She has extensive knowledge in criminal law matters as an Assistant City Prosecutor for Salt Lake City for five years and has prosecuted numerous jury trials. While at the prosecutor's office, Ms. Biedermann was actively involved in the Salt Lake Justice Court's Veterans Court and Homeless Court.

At Lokken & Associates she represents parents in abuse, neglect and dependency cases in Juvenile Court and is a representative in Family Dependency Drug Court. Ms. Biedermann practices in family law, representing clients in divorce and custody matters. Additionally, she represents clients in the area of criminal defense.
