Paternity

What about Paternity?

Since fathers usually pay child support, it is important to establish paternity. Utah has very strict laws that a father must follow to establish paternity. Failure to follow these laws, may result in loss of ability to assert any rights as a father.

Paternity can be established through agency action (Office of Recovery Services), voluntary declaration or court determination.
