Lisa B. Lokken is president and owner of Lokken & Associates, P.C. Ms. Lokken received her B.A. in Economics from Westminster College of Salt Lake City, in 1989 and her J.D. from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1993.
Ms. Lokken has 11 years of experience with family law matters. More specifically, Divorce, Annulments, Custody, Paternity, Child Support, Alimony, Modifications of Custody, Modifications of Child Support, Modification of Parent-Time, Enforcement of Parent-Time and Modification of Decrees. She is familiar with both custodial and non-custodial parent issues as well as the financial aspects of divorce.
Ms. Lokken has extensive experience with Abuse and Neglect issues. She is an experienced trial attorney and regularly appears in court.
Ms. Lokken is a member of the Court Improvement Project Committee, Warrants Committee, and was appointed as chair of the Parental Defense Committee. Ms. Lokken has been the coordinator and a presenter of the Utah Parental Defense Conference in 1997, 2002 and 2003, a conference which offers training to all parental defense attorneys throughout the State of Utah. Ms. Lokken has been a requested speaker in other venues pertaining to parental defense and child welfare.
Ms. Lokken is a member of the Utah State Bar.

Jacee E. Ballard received her B.S. in Psychology from Southern Utah University in 1998 and her J.D. from The University of Utah Law School with accompanying credits from University of San Diego Law School in 2002. She also studied International Law in Barcelona, Spain in 2001.
Ms. Ballard primarily practices parental defense and family law. Since joining Lokken & Associates in 2002, Ms. Ballard has represented hundreds of parents in abuse, neglect, dependency and custody cases in juvenile and district court. Ms. Ballard regularly defends parents against the Division of Child and Family Services, both privately and as a court appointed attorney. Ms. Ballard practices some business law, specifically reviewing and drafting legal documents and contracts.
Ms. Ballard is a Certified Mediator and has mediated cases both as the attorney advocate and the mediator. Ms. Ballard is on the Court Roster for the Domestic Mediation Program.
Ms. Ballard is a member of the Third District Table of Ten, Governor's Methamphetamine Task Force and the Dual Adjudicated Youth Committee. Ms. Ballard has been a requested presenter at the Utah Parental Defense Conference, which offers training to parental defense attorneys throughout the State of Utah.
Ms. Ballard has participated in several legally specific trainings. Ms. Ballard is a member and in good standing of the Utah State Bar; the U.S. District Court, District of Utah; the Utah Supreme Court; the Salt Lake County Bar Association; the American Bar Association; and the Utah Minority Bar Association. Ms. Ballard is currently a Board Member of the Board of Trustees, University of Utah, College of Law, Member-Young Lawyers Division, Enrolled Member Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, Tuesday Night Bar Member and Volunteer.

Judith Ledkins graduated 4.0, summa cum laude 1980, from Brigham Young University, with double major in English and business, secondary education certification, and she was also valedictorian. After graduation she taught high school in the Alpine School District. In 1985 she graduated magna cum laude, upper 3%, from Brigham Young University Law School.
Ms. Ledkins has extensive experience in many areas of law. She has served as an attorney at a large local law firm, specializing in commercial litigation and bankruptcy law. She is a former prosecutor for Salt Lake City and a former deputy county attorney for Davis County. Additionally, Ms. Ledkins has experience as a criminal defense attorney in juvenile and adult systems, defending felonies and misdemeanors.
Ms. Ledkins has served as the administrative law judge for the State Board of Education, presiding over formal adjudicative proceedings involving decertification, suspension, and revocation actions of public school teachers and employees. As well as the administrative law judge for Peace Officers and Standards Training (P.O.S.T.), presiding over formal adjudicative proceedings involving decertification, suspension, and revocation actions of peace officers throughout the State of Utah
In addition to her position at Lokken & Associates, Ms. Ledkins is currently an adjunct faculty member for business law and criminal justice at Columbia College, Salt Lake City extended studies division.
At Lokken & Associates, Ms. Ledkins represents parents in abuse, neglect, dependency and custody proceedings in the juvenile court
Ms. Ledkins has been an active member of the Utah State Bar in good standing, since 1985.

Brent S. Hall received his Honors B.A. in Psychology from Saint Louis University in 2001 and his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2004. While at college, Mr. Hall received the All-American award for his performance at the National Mock Trial Competition, and during law school he was one of six students selected to represent his school on their National Moot Court Team.
Mr. Hall has experience in criminal law, child welfare law, and family law. He served as a city prosecutor in St. Louis, Missouri before practicing criminal defense in Utah. He was a staff attorney with Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake where he handled divorce, custody and protective order cases. He currently represents parents in abuse, neglect, dependency and custody cases before the juvenile court.
Mr. Hall serves on the Utah Supreme Court's Advisory Committee for the Rules of Juvenile Procedure, the Family Dependency Drug Court Management Committee, and the Continuing Legal Education committee for the Juvenile Law Section of the Utah State Bar. He has appeared as a panelist and presenter on issues of juvenile law. In addition, Mr. Hall serves as coach to his former high school mock trial team who have achieved multiple state championships.
Mr. Hall is a member of the Utah State Bar; the U.S. District Court, District of Utah; and the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Jana Dickson Tibbitts received B.S. degrees in Social Work and Honors Sociology from Utah State University in 1998 and her J.D. from The University of Utah in 2004. During law school, she received honors including, the T. Lewis Outstanding Clinic Award for her work at Legal Aid Society and Utah Legal Services.
Following law school, Ms. Dickson Tibbitts was recruited by Crossroads Urban Center to establish the Community Food Co-op of Utah, a statewide non-profit food security project that serves thousands of Utahns each month.
Sine joining Lokken and Associates in 2007, Ms. Dickson Tibbitts has represented over a hundred parents in all aspects of abuse, neglect, dependency and custody cases before the juvenile court. Her practice focuses on child welfare and family law cases.
Ms. Dickson Tibbitts is a member of the Utah State Bar and frequent volunteer at the Pro Bono Family Law Clinic.

Shamim Monshizadeh graduated, summa cum laude, from Westminster College where she received her B.A. in Communications. She received her J.D. from The University of Utah College of Law.
Prior to joining Lokken and Associates, Ms. Monshizadeh practiced criminal defense as a public defender in Ogden and in private practice in northern Utah. She gained considerable experience at Yengich, Rich & Xaiz, Salt Lake Legal Defender Association, Utah County Public Defender Association, and Weber County Public Defender Association.
Ms. Monshizadeh is a member of the Utah State Bar; U.S. District Court for the District of Utah; the Salt Lake County Bar Association; and the American Bar Association.

David Cundick graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah in 1981 where he received a B.S. degree in Sociology in addition to a Certificate of Criminology. He received his J.D. from Brigham Young University in 1984.
Upon completion of law school, Mr. Cundick worked as a general litigator representing mostly corporate clients including Maverik Country Stores, Inc. and Mast Construction. He has extensive litigation experience in many areas of law. He is a former Tooele County Deputy Attorney and was also a partner in the Law firm of Parker, Freestone.
Mr. Cundick has extensive criminal experience both as a criminal prosecutor and defense attorney, and has litigated cases of aggravated murder, murder, rape, distribution and possession of controlled substances, kidnaping, forcible sex abuse, etc.
Mr. Cundick has conducted many jury trials throughout his career as an attorney, including first degree murder, rape aggravated assault and white collar crimes involving hazardous waste, securities fraud and tax evasion.
